Additionally, we offer assistance with communications to other journals or publishers where necessary.
Editorial Responsibilities and Decision-Making
The editor of the RECHTSIDEE Journal is tasked with the final decision on the publication of submitted articles. This decision must be guided by the importance of the work and its relevance to researchers and readers. Compliance with legal requirements regarding libel, copyright infringement, and plagiarism is mandatory.
Editors must adhere to principles of fair play, evaluating submissions based on intellectual content, and without bias concerning the authors' race, gender, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, ethnicity, nationality, or political ideology. They are expected to maintain confidentiality about submitted manuscripts and avoid any conflicts of interest.
Reviewers play a critical role in assisting the editor with decision-making and contributing to the improvement of submitted articles. They must maintain confidentiality, adhere to standards of objectivity, acknowledge relevant sources, and disclose any potential conflicts of interest.
Authors must provide accurate and original reports of their research, prepared in a manner that allows replication and verification by others. The authors should provide access to the raw data associated with their research whenever possible and retain such data for a reasonable time following publication.
Authors should ensure the originality of their work, cite influential sources, and restrict authorship to individuals who have significantly contributed to the research. All financial or other substantive conflicts of interest and all sources of financial support for the project must be disclosed.
In case of significant errors or inaccuracies in published work, it is the author’s duty to promptly inform the journal editor or publisher and cooperate in the retraction or correction of the paper.
This Publication Ethics Statement upholds the integrity and quality of the RECHTSIDEE Journal, promoting transparency and trust among authors, editors, reviewers, and readers.
